Boston was donated to our program, ready to begin his well-earned retirement – and let us tell you, he’s thriving in his new role. While we don’t have an official backstory for this handsome guy, his impressive work ethic sparks the imagination. Was he once a ranch hand’s right-hoof helping wrangle cattle? A rodeo champ racing barrels or roping calves? Or maybe he was a beloved family pony, faithfully carrying little cowboys and cowgirls on backyard adventures.
Whatever his past, Boston’s present is full of purpose, and he seems to know it. His gentle spirit, calm demeanor, and intuitive responsiveness have already made him a favorite among our riders and volunteers. Whether he’s helping a client find their balance, build confidence, or simply offering quiet companionship while enjoying a good (and hairy!) brushing, Boston handles each session with a sense of grace that’s nothing short of inspiring.
