Step 1: Read about the various volunteer positions working directly with our students and our horses and others that indirectly support our students and contribute to our efforts to serve more individuals with disabilities.
Step 2: Submit the online Volunteer Information Request.
Step 3: Upon receipt of your Request, you will receive an e-mail regarding a one-hour “Getting Acquainted” session that will go into more depth about our organization and requirements for volunteering. At the conclusion of this session you will be asked to confirm your continued volunteer interests and complete necessary paperwork. You will also need to complete the COVID-19 Risk Acknowledgment form.
Step 4: Background checks are required of all Cloud Dancers’ volunteers and staff. You will go to Sterling Associates’ website (link below) to arrange for this check. The cost to you is $19. Benefits to you are outlined on the Sterling Volunteers website. Use the Good Deed Code 9suvceg when prompted.
Step 5: You will be notified of your eligibility for volunteering and scheduled into a series of training classes that will prepare you for “making a difference.”
