Step 1: Read about the various volunteer positions working directly with our students and our horses and others that indirectly support our students and contribute to our efforts to serve more individuals with disabilities.
Step 2: Read the Volunteer Handbook and complete the Volunteer Application. Email or mail it to Cloud Dancers at PO Box 10489 Albuquerque NM 87184.
NOTE: To electronically sign the forms, you will need to download the form, complete the fields, electronically sign, save the file and email it to Cloud Dancers (just opening the file will not allow you to sign and save).
Step 3: Upon receipt of your Volunteer Application, you will receive a call to discuss volunteer opportunities. Subsequent to the call, you will receive information regarding a one-hour “Getting Acquainted” session that will go into more depth about our organization and requirements for volunteering.
Step 4: Background checks are required of all Cloud Dancers’ volunteers and staff. You will go to Sterling Associates’ website (link below) to arrange for this check. The cost to you is $19. Benefits to you are outlined on the Sterling Volunteers website. Use the Good Deed Code 9suvceg when prompted.
Step 5: You will be notified of your eligibility for volunteering and scheduled into a series of training classes that will prepare you for “making a difference.”
