Volunteering Step-by-Step

We appreciate your interest and look forward to having you as a member of our “Make a Difference Team.”

Step 1: Read about the various volunteer positions working directly with our students and our horses and others that indirectly support our students and contribute to our efforts to serve more individuals with disabilities.

Step 2: Read the Volunteer Handbook and complete the Volunteer Application.  Email or mail it to Cloud Dancers at PO Box 10489 Albuquerque NM 87184.

NOTE:  To electronically sign the forms, you will need to download the form to your computer, open it from your computer, complete the fields, electronically sign, save the file and email it to Cloud Dancers (just opening the file will not allow you to sign and save).

Step 3: Upon receipt of your Volunteer Application, you will receive a call to discuss volunteer opportunities.  Subsequent to the call, you will receive information regarding a one-hour “Meet and Greet” session that will go into more depth about our organization and requirements for volunteering.  

Step 4: Background checks are required of all Cloud Dancers’ volunteers and staff.  After you have confirmed your interest in being a Cloud Dancers volunteer, please email our volunteer administrator at volunteerad.clouddancersthp@gmail.com and request that a background check be initiated. Coeus Global will then contact you via email with a link to their form asking for the needed information.  The cost to you is $21.50.  Benefits to you are outlined on the Coeus Global website

Step 5: You will be notified of your eligibility for volunteering and scheduled into a series of training classes that will prepare you for “making a difference.”
