«return to news listExcited to announce tentative July re-opening!

06/15/2020 –

We hope that you all are safe and healthy and weathering the storm with a positive and optimistic mindset.  In light of the positive news recently about fewer outbreaks here in New Mexico, we are hopeful there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Cloud Dancers is excited by the prospect of tentatively re-opening on a limited basis with a four-week Session beginning the week of July 12, 2020.  In accordance with State mandates we have developed new protocols for delivering services that are in the best interests of riders, families, staff and volunteers.

Karen Molony, our Equine Manager and Lead Instructor, will be contacting each of our past riders in the next few weeks to discuss criteria for returning, as well as schedules for future lessons. Sandy LaBarbera, our Volunteer Coordinator, will be working with volunteers regarding their availability and continued interest in lessons

We are excited about seeing you all soon.  Staff, volunteers and horses have all missed your smiling faces, your enthusiasm and energy for riding, and your affection and care for our horses.

By The Way …

We have spent the last few months visiting, evaluating and considering 12 potential new homes for Cloud Dancers in both the north and south valleys and in Corrales.  To-date, none of these sites meet our critical needs, so we are continuing our search.  Dr. Komadina, our current landlord, has graciously given us the time we need to find just the right new home.
