Sandy is an Illinois native who grew up around horses was looking for somewhere that she and her husband, Red, could volunteer when she found Cloud Dancers. After just a year of volunteering in lessons and feeding, Sandy became indispensable to the program and has taken on management of the volunteer team with similar gusto.
If you want to know anything about what’s happening at the barn, ask Sandy, because she (and Red) are there nearly every day! But on the rare occasion that she is not, you might find her riding, camping, or gardening with Red and their terrier-mix, Gizmo.
